Thimbles, used with loop sleeves or malleable wire clips, protect cable from wear and tear. They help to distribute the load on the cable over a larger area, thereby increasing the life of the cable. Thimbles come in either cold-rolled steel (zinc plated) or stainless steel (natural finish).
NOTE: Some thimbles may have open and/or uneven ends.
*AN100-C1 is a miniature stainless steel thimble which has no applicable military specification.
